Removing a blood-caked, dried-in bandage is no laughing matter.
I removed one from my knee without too much trouble. But on my knee I could use both hands while seeing what I was doing. Then I did the one on my elbow. I couldn't see the wound, less than half the sticky bandage was in sight. And I only had one hand to do it.
But I did get it off without breaking open the wound or hurting myself.

I made a mistake. I went to the hospital to have the iron pins and wires removed. Everything went well (including the 10hour wait) so they let me go home. Before leaving they offered me some pain killers but I kindly refused them. I also didn't take the prescription for more pain killers. Cause, at that moment I didn't feel any pain.
But later I regretted that. Strongly.
Pain is a strange thing. They give pain killers after an operation (IV type). I got one automatic refill of them but when they wanted t give a new refill at night I said I didn't need it. Same in the morning. And indeed while laying still in bed I didn't feel any pain. Well, not much anyway not enough to use pain killers. But once I got up and walking and sitting on the bus the pain came on. Every bump in the road felt like a hammer blow do my knee. With every corner the bus took it felt like someone tried to twist off mu leg. While the train didn't turn as sharp and didn't bump that hard the rhythmic track bumps just hurt as much.
But, that was yesterday. Today it still hurts but much less. I cannot bend my arm or knee but I don't have to.

Going to hospital for just two days takes an incredible amount of planning and work.
I go back to remove some iron pins from my elbow and to get the steel wires out of my knee. It basically is just about half an hour of work by the doctors. But they want to keep me over-night. Mainly cause they will apply full anesthetics and don't want me to walk out like a half zombie ^_^
Whatever, I am grateful they take in patients from an accident without all that paperwork.
But he is unconscious and bleeding to death!
Hmm, sorry about that. But he has to fill in and sign these sixteen forms before we can take him in.
But can't you see he is dying?!?!!
Well, in that case we have these seven extra forms to be signed and we need an allowance from his insurance (actually three allowances in six-fold) and ...
Arrgh
I don't hate hospitals, I only hate bureaucracies.

When Doctors miscalculate, you're in trouble.
Unless your name is Sjon :)
The hospital doc miscalculated on the prescription for my physical exercises so now I end up with a gap in the series that I don't have to go to the torture sessions with the Kinesic.
But I wouldn't be me if I didn't go anyway. Yes, it hurts, especially on the fitness bike but it does help me get better so I go. And it helps. I walk without a limp most of the time and while I still cannot run (I tried ... auwies) I can walk quite fast already.

Work is at it's best ... if you got to log in form home. On a sunday.
But that's OK, cause I have a day off tomorrow and not just for another doctor visit.
OK, I go to the doc to retreive a prescription and I go to the dentist for a new filling but that's just the early morning. The rest of the day I go driving around the coutryside. For fun.

Strange weather.
Rain and hail is clattering against the windows on the left while the sun is streaming in trough the windows on the right. It's as if a dimensional break runs over the office with one side looking out on a Canadian autumn storm while the other side opens up to a nice Hawaiian spring evening.

Proof!
Men are though, enduring the hardests of climates. But once women turn up it all falls down.
Women drive men to drinking.

It will never dry up that well
even with the sun shining fell
Ever when the water runs low
there is some subterranean flow
drip-feeding the reservoir of water
keeping the level above care and bother
So I don't worry myself senseless
even when I write words rhyme less
Because I remember that down below
the verses linger, waiting to grow
forming beautiful themes all fresh,
painting with words rippling like flesh.
But for the moment I am dry
however hard I try
no wonderful words come tumbling
out of my hands now fumbling
searching for combinations unspoken
but finding all verses are broken.
~~
Just trying to catch some rhyming mood, It's been gone to long.
Oh, I still stumble on the odd rhyming phrase, but stringing them together kind of stems the flow.

Money is a problem.
I have enough of it, that's not the problem. Just getting something
payed is.
I have a set of internet domains registered at
Joker.com. I pay them regular for that with my Visa card. But new this
year is that they check with the bank on line. To get that check passed
you need a PCBanking account (which I have) and a Digipass to generate
keys (which I don't have). So I ordered a Digipass at the bank (they
are free if you have the right account) and got it. They also sent me
an activation code for it.
Or rather, the sent an
activation code for a Digipass. Each Digipass has a separate activation
code and the code they sent me was for a different Digipass. So I
complain, ask a new code (or a new Digipass) and wait.
Waiting for a bank is frustrating. Waiting while your domain
registration is running out is supper-frustrating.
